Dear Jordan,
We finally received some colder weather and snow this week. It wasn't as cold as a normal winter but it was cold enough to wear coats. We hope you are doing well. How is your weather? You asked about Big Hero 6. It is an animated movie. Here is the info from imdb: an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax, a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada. When a devastating event befalls the city of San Fransokyo and catapults Hiro into the midst of danger, he turns to Baymax and his close friends adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called "Big Hero 6." We enjoyed the story, but it is a Disney so the parents are dead and his brother dies. You will enjoy it when you get back.
On Monday the girls went to school and I went to work. We had Family Home Evening when I arrived at home. On Tuesday the girls went to school and I worked from home. During the day I had my doctor's appointment and he took the stitches out of my foot. He said that everything is still looking good but I still won't be able to put any weight on it for another 2 weeks. After work I helped set up the Blue & Gold & Green banquet for the scouts. Sheri Jensen arranged everything but I helped where I could. The girls went to Young Women's and they went to the Family History Center to find names to take to the temple. I was the MC at the banquet and everything went well for the evening.
On Wednesday the girls went to school and I went to work. Mom is still deciding what will happen with her job at the school. On Thursday the girls went to school and I worked from home.On Friday the girls (except Sarah) were off from school. Sarah went to school and I went to work.
Big news: Rachel took the driving test and passed so she is now practicing to drive.
Sad news: Leonard Nimoy (Spock) died at age 83. There were a lot of LLAP (Live Long And Prosper) comments on the internet. On Saturday Rachel, Bekah, and I went to Robert's house to have lunch. Robert and I are planning to go to Walt Disney World in June so we did some planning and bought our plane tickets. Rachel and Bekah were bored so they watched "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". We then went shopping for food. Rachel did the driving and she is doing well for the most part. There are time that are scary. Hannah also is driving and she is doing well. They both have their learners permits but not their licenses yet.
In the afternoon it started to snow so Rachel drove in the snow a little bit. That evening I worked with Bekah to help her with her Math project. She is learning about discounts, interest, and coupons. We then watched "The Box Trolls." On Sunday we went to church and then we were home taught at the Wood's house. Unfortunately the Urtons aren't our home teachers anymore. We went over to the Wood's house and Brother Wood taught about being lost and how we can find help. We then went to Robert's house for dinner and then watched "The Book of Life".
Please let us know if you need anything. It sounds like you are doing well. Please keep up the good work. Everyone continues to ask about you. In fact Sister Wood mentioned that she still remembers when you helped Brother Wood dig at the cabin to help remove the water. We continue to pray for your well-being. We love you very much and look forward to your next email.
Love,
Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, Bekah, dad, Mom
