Week 64 response

Congratulations on the snow! I'm sure everyone was happy to see that. :) We've had the 꽃샘추위 come and that cooled things down, but it's still not quite coat weather. It was strange this week in that there wasn't really anyone out on the streets. We still got to meet a few people, but it really reminded us to make every thing, down to a hello on the street, count. We're going to try some new strategies this week and see how it goes.

I'm glad your foot is doing better! That will help when you go to Disney World again. ;) Is anyone else going, or is it just the two of you? I look forward to hearing about it. We'll both have a few stories about the heat at that time, I'm sure. :)

Funny to hear that there are now 2 learners' permits floating around the family now. I hope the cars are doing alright. ;) I bet it's a bit different learning in the Pilot than in the van. Probably a bit easier, too! Wish them the best of luck and tell them to be defensive. :)

I hope you're having a fun time with home teaching. Tell them I remember digging that ditch, too. Unless they've been moved, I think the sneakers I wore are still on the back porch. :) We may want to just throw those away. They are good and all, but I don't know if we'll ever get the mud out... Someone can try if they want. Andrea has been home from a mission for quite a while now, hasn't she? Do you ever hear stories about the Netherlands?

There really isn't too much to write about this week. We did the same missionary work. I did realize again this week how long I have been here. It is becoming more and more realistic for me to have one more area and then go home. I've only got 7 more transfers and I've had 5 in both my areas. I'll let you know what happens. There is one area way out of Seoul which includes a military base. A lot of old missionaries go there. They don't street contact because there are no people on the streets and are too busy teaching military personnel. Basically everyone up there is a foreigner. Needless to say, it's not a normal area of the mission. :) They have full size beds... a dishwasher... a dryer.... Just not Korea.

Thank you for the email! It's always great to hear from you and to know you're doing well. I hope you keep up healing well and working hard. :) Thank you for the prayers. I pray for you all the time. Literally. :) Love you!

Press forward with steadfast faith in Christ.

Best wishes,
Elder Jones
